About Us
The Company
Elmore Engineering Services was founded in May of 2008 by Kelley S. Elmore. Mr. Elmore graduated from Penn State University (1991 Civil/Structural Engineering) and shortly after graduation went to work for a small engineering company in California. His first project at that company was related to blast analysis and all of his project exposure was focused on problem solving type projects. Projects that required not only design but evaluation and analysis to find a better way to resolve the client's challenging engineering issue.
We got our start thanks to clients that had worked with Mr. Elmore at his previous engineering company and were in need of his assistance again. The industries we have worked with in the past and currently serve include oil production, oil refining, chemical facilities, fossil power plants, manufacturers, and commercial nuclear power. Today at EESI we continue to focus on these industries and the unique engineering challenges they encounter.
Since inception EESI has focused on client service, relationships, and our employees. EESI is a small company and as such we understand the importance of repeat business. With that in mind we believe the best way to maintain repeat clients is to provide top notch services, products, and customer service.
EESI also assists our nuclear power clients with writing Engineering Change packages (ECs) or Design Change Packages (DCPs). With this experience we offer a more complete service to our nuclear power clients in that we can now perform the analysis/design and generate the EC, leaving our client to allot their resources to other projects.

Our Team
Elmore Engineering Services, Inc. is comprised of Civil, Structural, and Mechanical Engineers. Should a project have a need for additional disciplines such as electrical, I&C, HVAC, Process, etc. we have relationships in place with engineers and companies willing to assist in these areas. Additionally, our team is experienced with NRC Design Basis Threat security requirements and industry standards. Our personnel are cleared for safeguards information access in the nuclear industry in accordance with NRC requirements. Our team has been trained to perform QA calculations and their work follows strict criteria outlined in our client audited 10 CFR 50 Appendix B program.
